A mini-podcast with Sue Plumtree

'When self-love comes first,

true connection has a safe harbour to grow.'

This Is Your Turn.

A gentle 7-minute mini-podcast for people who are used to listening to everyone else — but rarely feel truly heard themselves.

Do you ever look back at your relationships—perhaps right back to your teenage years—and feel quietly puzzled? You possess a profound, beautiful desire for genuine connection, yet you find yourself in dynamics that often leave you feeling unfulfilled. You might even find yourself wondering if you are somehow failing, or if the disconnect is entirely your own fault.

Maybe you find it easier to keep the peace, than share your own needs? Or assume that those needs should always be at the back of the queue?

Or perhaps, you find yourself frequently saying yes when everything inside of you is crying out to be able to say no?

If this is you, and it leaves you feeling trapped in unfulfilling, one-sided relationships; or quietly pain or resentment towards those who take you for granted— followed by guilt for even giving those emotions head room, then this mini podcast is here to welcome you and show you that you are far from alone.

Sue Plumtree believes that everyone has the right to be treated with respect, with kindness, and with love.

She has made it her mission to help you gently challenge the quiet belief that you do not have the right to ask for more. She is here to help you get to know and like yourself, and to safely find your voice when others treat you non-lovingly, so that you can finally stop settling for second best.

If you would like to be part of this mission, to step up for yourself, or for those you love, then Sue would be delighted to welcome you as her guest.

Have You Been Putting Yourself Last?

Does this sounds familiar…

You say yes when you mean no. You smooth things over. You hold space for everyone — and quietly wonder when it became so hard

to take up any space yourself.

This Conversation May Be for You If...

This quiet, unhurried space may be for you if you are someone who:

Longs for true connection and acceptance, but continually

finds yourself in unfulfilling

or superficial dynamics.

Blames yourself when

relationships feel painful,

quietly wondering what

you are doing wrong.

Often feels overlooked or taken for granted because you struggle to express your own needs.

Avoids conflict because you struggle to believe in your own internal worthiness.

And slowly, without even meaning to, the heart-led coach can start to wonder...

“Do I have to put money first if I want to succeed?”

This mini podcast exists to challenge that idea.

Wants to step out of the cycle of "Non-Love"

and into a life where you feel genuinely valued for exactly who you are.

An honest conversation

An invitation to be heard — exactly as you are.

'This Is Your Turn'

is a series of 7-minute conversations with real people. No performance. No polished talking points. No need to have it all figured out.

Just seven gentle minutes.

Real experiences, in your own words.

A safe, unhurried space — held with care.

"You don't need perfect answers. Just a willingness to have an honest conversation."

How it works

Two Questions. One Meaningful Conversation.

Each mini podcast episode is built around two simple but powerful questions.

Question 1

"What one recurring problem have you experienced in past relationships? This could be with your love partner or with family, friends or work colleagues."

This gives you the room to speak honestly about the real patterns you carry. Perhaps you stay silent because you feel your voice doesn't carry weight, or perhaps your inner critic whispers that the disconnect is your fault. There is no judgment or shame here.

Question 2

"If I gave you a magic wand, what is the one thing you would change to improve your relationships?"

This question helps uncover what your heart is truly asking for next. Not just a superficial fix, but true clarity, deeper courage, and the absolute belief that you are worthy of being respected.

Your comfort comes first

You choose how this feels safe for you.

There's no single right way to show up. You decide what feels right — and you decide whether your conversation is ever shared publicly.

On Camera

Share your voice and your face. Lovely if it feels natural — never required.

Off Camera

Audio only, or a still image instead. If this feels more comfortable for you, that is absolutely fine.

You always choose whether your recording is shared. We hope to raise awareness amongst those who don't feel able to speak for themselves, but it's just as important to us that you know your comfort is our priority.

Your comfort comes first

The "What Do I Need Right Now?" Anchor

A 30-second grounding practice you can return to anywhere — at your desk, in the car, mid-conversation. A tiny, repeatable way

to come home to yourself.

Pause

Just for a breath.

Breathe

Slow and soft.

Reconnect

Hand on your heart.

Ask

What do I need right now?

A gentle anchor — so the next time you feel pulled in every direction, you remember there's a you in the room too.

If you are completely used to staying silent about your own needs, this quiet exercise will help you soften your shoulders, reconnect with your true self, and leave our session feeling lifted, lighter, and ready for the remainder of your day.

When you are grounded in your own truth, you stop chasing relationships from a place of self-doubt—you naturally begin to attract them from a place of self-love.

Why this matters

There is a lot of noise in the coaching industry.

A lot of pressure. A lot of promises. A lot of strategies that tell people to lead with scarcity, urgency, pain and fear.

But heart-led coaches are not here to trick people into buying. They are here to help people make clear, empowered decisions about the support they genuinely need.

That does not mean avoiding sales.

It does not mean giving everything away for free.

It does not mean pretending money does not matter.

It means building a business where income grows because trust grows.

Where clients say yes because they feel understood, not pressured.

Where your message becomes clearer because it is rooted in service, not panic.

Where your visibility grows because you believe in the value of what you offer.

That is what The Heart-Led Way is here to explore.

One honest 7-minute conversation at a time.
